Dr. Robert Chao Romero

Romero holds a Ph.D. in Latin American History from UCLA and a J.D. from UC Berkeley. He has authored over 30 publications on race, immigration, theology, and justice. His acclaimed book Brown Church won the InterVarsity Press Readers’ Choice Award. A past Ford Foundation and Louisville Institute fellow, Dr. Romero bridges academic scholarship with grassroots justice and faith-based advocacy.
