Reverend Hiram Rios

Reverend Hiram Rios is a born and bred New Yorker who now lives in Miramar, FL with his wife, Dr. Rios and their two sons. After 34 years in the Prosthetic/Orthotic field, he left the field to take care of his special needs son DJ until his passing on September 22, 2022.

He has been in co-vocational ministry with his wife for over 30 years, 15 of those in pastoral ministry. He produced and hosted the Passion Center's community-wide Comedy show known as the West Pines Comedy Room every third Thursday of the month.

Hiram serves P2P as Cohort Liaison, supporting in cohort facilitation, checking in on participants to ensure they are learning and can apply what they learn to their contexts. He is a volunteer chaplain at Memorial Hospital Miramar and helps families navigate the hardest time of their lives as they contemplate hospice in his role at VITAS.
